Practice

Herrod Landscapes is a landscape practice built on the belief that delivering a garden requires an understanding of design, context, nature and the conditions that allow a landscape to flourish over time.

We design and deliver gardens, working directly with homeowners or in collaboration with architects and landscape designers. From consultation and planning through to construction and establishment, the same hands carry a project from first conversation to final planting. This continuity allows us to anticipate site challenges, coordinate specialists and build without losing sight of the garden’s intent. It gives our clients and collaborators confidence that every decision is considered and what we build is made to grow well.

Our responsibility extends beyond completion. Garden management programmes and ongoing advice protect the investment made in each landscape, ensuring gardens establish successfully and continue to mature over time.

Sustainability

Gardens are living systems, and their long-term health depends on considered decisions about plants, materials, water and ongoing management.

Herrod Landscapes takes a considered approach to how gardens are built and cared for, from material selection and waste reduction to water use, planting and management. We reuse and recycle materials wherever practical and continue to explore better ways to build, establish and care for landscapes with less impact over time.
